Manhattan, Kansas – May 22, 2019 – “Leveraging Science into Product Innovation” has been announced as the theme for the interactive 2019 Petfood R&D Showcase, focused on taking scientific knowledge and turning it into a pet food product consumers will appreciate. This unique, hands-on workshop is scheduled for October 15-17, 2019, at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas, USA. Registration is now open with super early bird savings available.
“Learning about new scientific discoveries, how those discoveries can be integrated into products and the necessary application validation and promotion are key to new product successes,” said Greg Aldrich, PhD, research associate professor and coordinator for the pet food program at Kansas State University. “The intent is to provide pet food professionals with a glimpse into the future and provide opportunities to remain at the cutting edge in the discipline.”
This one-of-a-kind workshop will provide attendees with interactive, engaging and hands-on experiences exploring new ideas and how they behave in actual product applications.
In addition to the hands-on demonstrations, Petfood R&D Showcase will feature numerous networking opportunities with leading suppliers, researchers and pet food industry professionals, plus scientific presentations that have a direct connection to ideas pet food manufacturers and suppliers can incorporate into their product offerings. “This event will create significant opportunities to network, stimulate innovative ideas and learn about new research and technology,” added Aldrich.
