Rockford, IL – April 2, 2019 – Petfood Industry has announced the launch of a Chinese e-newsletter and WeChat social media channel. With these resources, pet food professionals can connect and learn more about the growing Chinese pet food market, including information on nutrition, processing, safety and other key topics.

The Chinese-language e-newsletter will be delivered twice monthly. In addition to marketplace matters, the content will feature articles of particular interest to the Chinese pet food industry. This includes global pet food news and current events in the industry.

“The Chinese pet food market is among the fastest growing in the world, with sales increasing at least 25 percent a year and promising to continue rising at a similar pace for some time,” says Debbie Phillips-Donaldson, Editor-in-Chief, Petfood Industry Magazine. “Sharing pet food manufacturing and market information is crucial to meeting the needs of growing numbers of pet owners.”

Both the e-newsletter and social media channel will enhance the educational opportunities offered by Petfood Forum China in its eighth year as the exclusive pet food conference in the country. It will be held on 20 August at the Kerry Hotel in Shanghai, China, in conjunction with Pet Fair Asia.

These new Chinese products join Petfood Industry’s portfolio that also includes an English website, magazine, e-newsletter and series of global forum events – all to support the community of professionals working in pet food and pet treat manufacturing worldwide.
