Ensenada, México – October 11, 2017 – Petfood Industry representatives have announced a new event for the Mexican pet food market, TAM México – Tecnología de Alimentos para Mascotas: Innovación en Dietas Superpremium (Pet Food Technology: Innovation in Superpremium Diets).
Featuring demonstrations focused on teaching the latest technologies for manufacturing superpremium pet food diets, the event is scheduled for December 5 at University of Baja California in Ensenada, México. Arturo Valdez, GfK Mexico, is confirmed as keynote speaker for the 2017 edition. Registration is now open with early bird savings available for this interactive workshop.
“We are pleased to announce Arturo Valdez as the keynote speaker for TAM Mexico workshop,” said Debbie Phillips-Donaldson, editor-in-chief of Petfood Industry. “Valdez will share insights pertaining to Mexico’s pet food segment growth and relevance among main retail specialized market channels.”
In Mexico, superpremium dog and cat food diets continue to grow in popularity, taking valuable market share from established premium brands and creating new opportunities for the Mexican pet food industry. Valdez, Gfk Mexico’s consumer and retail director, will also discuss the changing mindset of pet parents in terms of values, needs, lifestyles and trends.
In addition to the presentation by Valdez, attendees will participate in hands-on workshops focused around the newest technologies involved in pet food manufacturing. At each interactive station, attendees will learn from industry suppliers on the usage of various ingredients, equipment and processing techniques to make premium and superpremium pet food and treats.
Due to the hands-on design of this workshop, space is limited. Registration fee includes: full day conference with educational sessions focused on innovation, numerous networking opportunities with breakfast, lunch, evening reception and coffee breaks.
