Rockford, IL – May 2, 2016 – WATT Global Media and the National Chicken Council (NCC) have announced a powerful lineup of panel speakers to be featured at the newly rebranded 2016 Chicken Marketing Summit.
The discussion panel is set to discuss chicken trends and how those trends relate to consumer demands in the marketplace.
Foodservice panelists discussing chicken marketing trends will include Dean Bradley, Director – Protein Supply at Buffalo Wild Wings, Mike Ledford, Supply Chain – Food and Beverage Sourcing at Chick-fil-A, and Chris Chang, Chief Financial Officer with Raising Cane’s. Retail grocery panelists speaking include Stefan Oellinger, Category Merchant/Sourcing for Meat and Poultry, for online retail grocer, Fresh Direct.
“Our strategy with speaker selection for this year’s Chicken Marketing Summit was to provide attendees with thought-provoking topics presented by engaging industry executives with a deep understanding of the impact consumers are making on the supply chain”, states Gary Thornton, Chief Editor of WATT PoultryUSA magazine. “McDonald’s Director Ernie Meier’s discussion on how they handle transparency will be another opportunity for the audience to get a first-hand perspective from someone dealing with these issues every day.”
Registration for the summit is off to a very strong start and still provides an early registration discount of $200 (expiring on May 4), though it is anticipated that the remaining available seats will become limited shortly.
