Gregory A. Watt is President & Chief Executive Officer of WATT Global Media where he directs the company’s strategic vision, corporate culture initiatives, revenue growth and acquisition selection/integration. Mr. Watt is the 4th generation to lead the company which was founded in 1917 by James W. Watt his great-grandfather. Corporate offices are in Rockford, Illinois USA with employees and partners across the United States, England, China, Spain, Greece, and the Netherlands. A graduate of Western Illinois University Bachelor of Business degree with emphasis in Marketing, Mr. Watt serves on the Board of Directors for SIIA Connectiv Association and Connectiv Business Media Educational Foundation, and the Advisory Board of Associated Bank Rockford Region. He is a past Board member of BPA International. Mr. Watt is involved in local charitable groups including the Board of Directors for the Element Rockford. He resides in Rockford, Illinois USA with his wife Lulu and son Cooper.
Watt Publishing Co., was originally incorporated July 6, 1917, as the Poultry Tribune Company by founders J.W. Watt and Adon A. Yoder. In 1929 the company name was changed from Poultry Tribune Company to Poultry-Dairy Publishing Company, and in 1944 the corporate name was changed to Watt Publishing Company.
