Value of digitalized planning and prediction in live production
Most poultry companies would categorize their production planning as very complex as it has a chain effect across the entire vertical integration. The fact is that most management struggle to make sense of planning, and use complex excel spreadsheets, which in many cases require several people to manage. See how a digitalized planning module works for the poultry supply chain so companies can proactively predict, optimize and effectively mitigate disruptions in their planning process.
Steven Zhang founded AgNet, a Shanghai-based ag-tech start up, dedicated to poultry digitalization. By adding a modern digital portfolio of Data, IoT, and AI to the mix, AgNet simplifies data management, analytics, communication and planning of live production with an easy to use mobile app and desktop platform. Zhang has spent most of his career working for multi-national agri-food companies. This experience has provided him a unique perspective on digital innovation by combining industry knowledge with the real needs of poultry clients. Zhang has an undergraduate degree in economics from Hangzhou University and a master’s degree in business administration from University of Strathclyde.
