Anita Menconi, Ph.D., is a technical service manager for gut health solutions at Evonik. Menconi received a bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine from Centro Regional Universitário de Espirito Santo do Pinhal in Sao Paulo, Brazil. After her residency with focus on avian pathology, Menconi moved to the U.S. to earn her master’s degree and Ph.D. in poultry science at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Before joining Evonik, she worked as a technical services specialist at Pacific Vet Group and as a technical services scientist at Novozymes. Menconi is interested in poultry production, health and microbiology.
