Rockford, IL – September 28, 2016 – Registration for Petfood Technology Workshop Mexico has opened, according to Petfood Industry representatives, and is already receiving interest from industry professionals around the world.

This newest addition to the Petfood Forum portfolio of live conferences and exhibitions will debut at the University of Baja California in Ensenada, Mexico on December 5-6, 2016. The Latin American pet food market is one of the fastest growing in the world, with high-demand for seminars and workshops that give industry professionals hands-on experience working with the latest industry technologies and leading market consultants.

The UABC Kibble Tech sessions will provide real-world experience for attendees in multiple ways and with the newest trends that are affecting the industry in Latin America.

Petfood Technology Workshop Mexico has a mobile-friendly website with event information and details available in both English and Spanish, which can be easily selected via the flag icon on the main navigation menu. A tentative agenda is also available on the site with an outline of keynote speaker Iván Franco, founder of Triplethree International, who will speak on Mexico’s pet food market outlook and gravitation toward premium, super-premium and ultra-premium diets for companion animals.

Event representatives have confirmed that there will be six hands-on, interactive workshop stations that will be led by top industry suppliers. Attendees can expect to learn new techniques and tools for promoting better yields, safer products and greater efficiency, tips on how to optimize extrusion plant operations, the latest information on ingredient preparation, extrusion, drying, packaging and container filling equipment, how to solve challenges with raw material purchasing, handling, logistics and functionality, and much more. Takeaways from each station will provide applicable insights on vital components involved with creating premium dog and cat kibble diets, and assist pet food professionals with advancing product development and production efficiency within their own business model.

“With the Latin American pet food market being the third largest in the world, there is a specific need for the region to stay up-to-date with consumer demands and understand how to meet them,” said Debbie Phillips Donaldson, Editor-in-Chief of Petfood Industry. “All Petfood Forum events, but especially the hands-on educational opportunities available only through our workshops, are vital resources for professionals within rapidly expanding markets like Latin America to receive exclusive insights on best practices and tools for how they can further enhance their company’s success.”
